Description

This lesson is one example of how you can implement an English dramatization. It fosters collaborative work students’ interaction. In this time, this activity will be adapted based on book about legends of Latin America but it can be adapted to any book students are reading, and that helps students engage in what they are reading.

Learning Goals

ü  Use simple past tense

ü  Create a dramatization to communicate the story

Materials

Students should look for the appropriate materials to use according their criteria

What to do

ü  Teacher gives students a short story (using simple past tense)

ü  Teacher divides the class in two groups of 5 students

ü  Each group need to choose three different sentences in simple past tense from the story.

ü  Each group will represent the 3 sentences that they chose using one scene for each sentence.
